CLUB RIDES
Behind The Bikeshed Cycling Club will organise regular club rides for the members, some of which will run throughout the year. There are a few set rules for all riders.
- A Helmet is mandatory.
- Bring a tube, pump, tyre lever and mobile phone with you. Don’t expect other people to provide these.
- No-one will ever get left behind on a ride and the overall pace will be set by the slowest rider.
- No-one will ever be under pressure to ride something they are not comfortable with.
- Whilst the Club is organizing these rides and we will always endeavour to have someone on hand, we are not providing leadership and we are not responsible for the things that can go wrong. Cycling as a sport has a certain amount of inherent danger and the individual accepts this risk without any redress against Behind The Bikeshed Cycling Club or Behind The Bikeshed Limited.
Programme Updated 31st August
Intermediate road ride on Tuesday 31st August, then please meet at the shop for 6.15pm. There may not be anyone from the shop there but hopefully those of you who wish to ride can meet up.
A bit of advanced warning, from next week the rides will start at 6pm to take advantage of the daylight available. In due course when we have to ride with lights, the start time will go back to after 6pm.
Other rides (provisional schedule)
Friday 3rd September – east road ride from the shop at 6.15.
Sunday 5th September – probable road ride, details to follow
Monday 6th September – easy MTB meeting at Tesco Tidworth car park at 6pm.
Tuesday 7th September – intermediate road ride meeting at Stockbridge Town Hall, 6pm.
Friday 10th September – easy road ride meeting at Stockbridge Town Hall, 6pm.
